It’s extremely rare that I do name of my pieces. This one is called Feliz beach II.
Didn’t think that I actually come home with any images from the beach. It was virtually pitch black and the storm was brewing on the horizon. Thankfully my co-adventurer @cupcakeninjaah had the patience to wait for me… 😘 The image itself didn’t take too long, but actually getting out there was a little bit tricky without killing yourself and getting swept away by the waves…. You can’t imagine how slippery the rocks were!

Timing is everything when hunting for the Northern lights at my latitude which is just underneath the 60th parallel. The show that you are viewing on this image did not lost more than 5 minutes! If you ever seen aurora borealis up north (beyond the wall) you know that they last much longer and much higher up from the horizon. But this is how they look in #Stockholmcounty

On the second image you can see the fogg rolling in far on the horizon. It was really a long time ago that I had to drive that slow on my way back, now when I say slow that is an under statement. Absolutely magical! .

The Northern lights only a few minutes outside of #UppsalaCity. Not the strongest lights or the best conditions to photograph them. Plenty of light pollution as well as passing trucks and cars which you can see on the horizon.
The air quality wasn’t the clearest, there was quite a lot of humidity in the air close to the ground which made the light pollution even worse.
This was shot on the evening of 30-310819. At the end of September we are expecting hi solar activity which may or may not produce more northern lights. Just hoping that the weather will be clear.
When I shot these images they were never intended to become a little #timelapse just keep that in mind when watching 😅 .

I know that it kind looks like the crop of this image is a little bit of, but look again the ocean horizon is actually straight it’s just that you don’t see that much of it.
